Denim for Life
Naveena teamed up with Jeanologia and Archroma to create a new way of making denim that is very environmentally friendly. They have developed advanced technologies that use much less water, energy, and produce fewer carbon emissions compared to traditional denim manufacturing methods. This means that their way of making denim is at the forefront of sustainability, meaning it helps protect the earth. Denim For Life is proud to show that their brand of sustainability is as friendly to the environment as possible..
H2Ø (Less Water)
Through the utilization of a mere 10% of the customary water consumption, Naveena fundamentally transforms H2O into H2NO, indicating a significant reduction in water usage. The denim collection is crafted utilizing eco-friendly techniques that employ air to mimic the atmospheric conditions needed to generate ozone gas, thus bestowing the fabric with an authentic appearance of outdoor wear. This method effectively preserves water and energy resources, leading to a noteworthy decrease in our carbon footprint.
Green Project
With the help of advanced technologies from Jeanologia and Archroma, Naveena has made significant improvements in protecting the environment. They have greatly minimized their use of water, energy, and carbon emissions, which makes them a leader in sustainability.
What’s even better is that their methods of dyeing and manufacturing denim fabric align with preferred environmental practices. They have received recognition from a globally respected tool called ONE WAY, which evaluates sustainable techniques.
In simple terms, it means that their brand is doing a really good job at being environmentally friendly and taking care of the Earth.
Advance Denim Concept
Archroma’s advanced denim technology enhances denim by maximizing its fabric properties and minimizing its environmental impact, bringing denim to a whole new level. This innovation unlocks a broader range of colors, performance capabilities, and sustainability in the manufacturing process.
Thirst-free Denim
Thirst-free denim is a special kind of jeans that are made using less water, which is good for the environment. It uses a technology that doesn’t need steam, water, or chemicals, and this helps save a lot of water and energy, up to 90 percent! By using this new process, it saves 12 liters of water for each pair of jeans and also prevents the use of 10 to 12 tons of chemicals every year. So, wearing these thirst-free jeans can make us feel a little happier because we know we’re helping the planet by using less water and chemicals.
Dare To Adapt
Dare To Adapt is a collection of denim fabrics that are made with adaptive technologies and processes to create denim products that are responsive to the changing needs and preferences of consumers. Dare To Adapt fabrics are made with Thermolite® EcoMade technology, which provides warmth and comfort in cold weather; Coolmax® EcoMade technology, which keeps the wearer cool and dry in hot weather; or Polygiene®’s STAYS FRESH technology, which prevents the growth of odor-causing bacteria and fungi on the fabric.
100% Hemp Denim
100% Hemp Denim is a collection of denim fabrics that are made with 100% hemp fibers, which are derived from a plant that is anti-bacterial, pesticide-free, fast-growing, and water-saving. 100% Hemp Denim fabrics are made with Archroma’s EarthColors®, which are dyes derived from natural sources such as agricultural waste. 100% Hemp Denim fabrics also use enzymes from Novozymes, which help to achieve different washes and finishes without harming the fabric or the environment.
Denim Goes Disco
Denim Goes Disco is a collection of denim fabrics that are made with metallic yarns or coatings to create a shiny and glamorous effect. Fortified Denim with Dyneema
Fortified Denim with Dyneema is a collection of denim fabrics that are made with Dyneema® fibers, which are the strongest and lightest fibers in the world. Fortified Denim with Dyneema fabrics are made with a blend of cotton and Dyneema® fibers, which provide strength, durability, and abrasion resistance to the fabric. Fortified Denim with Dyneema fabrics also use other technologies such as stretch, which adds flexibility and comfort to the fabric.
Moisture Management Denim
Using TENCEL™ fibers in denim has many benefits, and one of them is a special property called wicking. Wicking means that the fabric can absorb and move moisture away from the body, keeping you dry and comfortable.
TENCEL™ fibers are really good at absorbing moisture. But here’s the cool part: TENCEL™ fibers not only absorb moisture, they also have a special way of moving that moisture away from your body. It’s like when you have a straw and you suck up a drink, and then you can blow the drink back out through the straw. TENCEL™ does something similar with the moisture. It pulls the moisture away from your skin, so it’s not stuck there making you feel wet and uncomfortable.
Stretch your Horizons
Stretch your Horizons is a collection of denim fabrics that are made with high-stretch yarns or fibers to create a flexible and comfortable fit. Stretch your Horizons fabrics are made with Lycra® dualFX® technology or Lycra® T400® EcoMade technology, which provide high elasticity and recovery to the fabric. Stretch your Horizons fabrics also use other technologies such as Thermolite® EcoMade technology or Coolmax® EcoMade technology to provide warmth or coolness to the fabric.
